Richard Prince’s (b.1949) recent mix media paintings with vivid colours and childlike drawings. and now they are remade by the artist with inkjet reproductions of his 1998–99 Hippie Drawings that he started making in 1998 and continued to draw for the next couple of years.

Richard started to make inkjet reproductions of his 1998–99 Hippie Drawings in 2017, he started appropriating himself. The printed image could be redrawn, drawn over, added onto, or collaged with other drawings through the inkjet machine.

Calling these new paintings High Times made sense. It was an open title. “Open-ended.” The title was a lifetime of experiences for Richard Prince.
